Positive parent-school communications benefit parents. The manner in which schools communicate and interact with parents affects the extent and quality of parents‘ home involvement with their children’s learning. Having a positive parent–teacher relationship contributes to your child’s school success.
Our program “Pragathi” does the needful to ensure a healthy Parent – Teacher – Student relationship. It is an interactive session to bring the 3 groups together to discuss the growth of the children and witness their creative learning.
Peace Poster contest was held by the Lion’s Club International for the age groups 3 – 13, divided into 4 sub-groups. The topic given was “Future of Peace”
Our students contributed to the contest by portraying their artistic skills in the form of beautiful drawings to promote “Peace”.
Karnataka Rajyotsava is celebrated on 1 November of every year. This was the day in 1956 when all the Kannada language-speaking regions of South India were merged to form the state of Karnataka. The Rajyotsava day is listed as a government holiday in the state of Karnataka.
Kannada Rajyotsava was celebrated at ISE with great enthusiasam. The children came to school dressed as important personalities who contributed to Karnataka’s rich and cultural heritage. They learnt about the contributions of these personalities. They also shared their knowledge about Karnataka culture with their peers. The day was filled with activities to enlighten the children with the rich culture of Karnataka.
The needle work class a life skill that every child should know, is held once in a month which helps students learn the basics of stitching.
Needlework encompasses the strengthening of coordination, academic, emotional and artistic skills. Children gain a sense of pride from jobs well done and the attention they gain from their achievements.Children learn respect for the time and labor that went into projects by learning these skills. A child learns discipline, endurance, patience, and time management from the accomplishment of an sewing or embroidery project.
Children’s Day is celebrated to increase awareness of the rights, care and education of children.
Children’s Day was celebrated @ ISE with lots of fun activities and games. The teacher’s had planned several activities for the children. They sang for the kids and played games with them. Many teachers brought specially cooked dishes to share with their students.The teachers ensured that this day would be a wonderful and unforgettable experience for the children.
The day was filled with Food, Fun and Games to ensure that our students carry forward the memories of these wonderful moments spent @ ISE to last their entire lives.
Hand block printing has evolved as a simple way to do printing on cloth materials. It consists of basic and natural things for doing the printing on fabric. Eco-friendly approach is one of the major advantages of hand block printing. Most of the materials which are involved in printing work are eco-friendly.
